Got a call the other day where some robotic voice claimed to be from HMRC, saying I'd face legal action if I didn’t respond. Definitely a scam, so I just hung up and blocked the number straight away.

I think this guy might be the best scammer I've dealt with. He gets seriously worked up every time, and honestly, I find it hilarious to keep him hanging. It's been a right laugh messing with him.

Over the past couple of days, I got calls twice from the same number. The bloke claimed he was with fraud investigation. When I asked him how he got my info, he just cut the call straight away. Definitely a scam, don’t share any personal info with them.

I got a call from some bloke with a weird accent, said he was from the credit investigation team at my bank, but he couldn’t even tell me the bank’s name properly. He was trying to say he could clear half my debt or something. I just told him I’d pay it the usual way like everyone else. He didn’t stick around long after that and hung up pretty sharpish.

Some bloke with an Indian accent called claiming to be from a credit reference company. As soon as I told him I’m on the TPS list, he just ended the call straight away. I’ve gone ahead and reported the number to the ICO.

When i asked the caller for the company name and their phone number, i said i'd google them to check if they were really from the debt advice bureau because there's so many scams going around these days. As soon as i said that, they just hung up straight away.

I got a call from someone claiming to be Peter Jones, said he was with Credit Investigation. I asked him to repeat his name cause I wasn’t sure, and he just sounded irritated. Then he said something that made no sense and just ended the call abruptly.

I got a call from this number saying I owe some money. When I told them I didn’t, they just hung up on me. The voice sounded foreign and it seemed dodgy, especially since it was a mobile number. I’m pretty sure real companies don’t call from mobiles. Just wondering how they even got my name in the first place.

Got a call on Tuesday but didn’t pick up, then got another one Wednesday and I answered. The bloke on the other end had a really odd name, sounded foreign. He claimed he was from Citizens Advice Bureau, asking about some loans I supposedly hadn’t paid. I told him I didn’t have any loans, then he kept on about credit card debts I supposedly owed. When I said no, he suddenly hung up. Definitely felt like a scam. The number showed up as Manchester but I’m based in London.
