Back on 2nd May, I ordered a fridge costing £700 from a site called UK appliancesdirect. The delivery was originally set for 9th May but then got pushed back to the 17th. Now, the website has vanished, the email address is dead, and no sign of the fridge. The landline rings through to this mobile number, but it’s always full and I can’t leave any voicemail. Seems like a proper scam to me. I’ve contacted Action Fraud about it too. Can anyone tell me if it’s possible to find out who owns this mobile number?

I ordered a fridge from UK Appliances Direct and got a confirmation through, paid via BACS as well. Spoke to a young woman on 0208 068 0372 who told me delivery would happen on 12th May 2017. But nothing showed up on the day. Now, when I call that number, it just redirects me and the voicemail is full. Feels like I’ve been ripped off as well.

I got scammed for £800 from a company called UKappliancesdirect. I’ve already passed all the details to Action Fraud and Trading Standards. If anyone else has had issues with them, make sure you report it too - the more complaints they get, the better chance there is of them being looked into.

I got a call from a number linked to UKappliancesdirect and ended up losing £800 to a scam. I've already passed all the details to Action Fraud and trading standards. If anyone else has been caught out by this lot, please make sure you report it to Action Fraud. The more people speak up, the better chance we have of getting them properly investigated.

This number ended up costing my family £400 after some dodgy call. It was linked to UKappliancesdirect or something like that. Be careful if it rings you!
