Got a call on 11/07/2024 at about 11:35 from 07507156354. There was this recorded voice, sounded like an American attempting a posh British accent, saying some nonsense about a letter from HMRC being sent back and that I was about to face legal trouble. They told me to press 1 to talk to someone. I just ended the call chuckling. Apparently, this number is run by EE! Seriously, don’t fall for this stuff - HMRC doesn’t and won’t ever ring you on a mobile out of the blue.
