Got a text this morning saying there was an attempt to pay using a device I don’t own. Pretty weird and kinda worrying to be honest. I didn’t try to buy anything myself, so now I’m left wondering if someone’s trying to mess with my account or something. Has anyone else had this happen? Feels like I should check all my security settings just in case.

Got a text from this number claiming to be HSBC. I called up HSBC just to check and they told me it’s a scam. Apparently it’s coming from a mobile phone, and they said they never call customers on mobiles. The message was pushing me to click on a dodgy link!
