This guy with a sort of Indian accent rang me about 4 times in just 5 minutes. Every time I said I wasn’t interested in any IVA, but he just kept going on. On the last call, I told him straight up there’s no such thing as a free IVA. That’s when he snapped, got really annoyed, started swearing loads and even threatened to mess with my wife. I’ve reported it to the police already. Just got a call from the same bloke again, but this time from a different number, both times claiming to be from Credit Investigation.

Got a call from an Asian guy claiming he was chasing unpaid debts for the government! I don't owe anything at all, so I was pretty sure it was dodgy. Plus, he was ringing from a mobile number which seemed odd. When I asked why he wasn’t using an official office line, he suddenly stammered and cut the call right away!

Got a call yesterday from an Asian guy claiming the government’s started some new plan to clear unsecured debts! The day before, a similar call came from an Oban number (blocked that one as well). Both times, told them to take a hike.

I got a call from someone claiming to be from the debt agency I’d been in contact with. Since I was waiting to hear from Creditfix, I chatted with a lady for a bit. But I got suspicious when she kept asking for info about my debts which I’d already given her before. Then she wanted my bank details so I just ended the call.

A guy with an Asian accent rang me up saying he knew I owed money on credit cards or store cards, claiming to be from a charity that had picked me to have some or all of my debts cleared for free. I asked if I’d got that right - a charity was just gonna pay off my debts at no cost? He said yes, that was it. I told him I wasn’t born yesterday and then ended the call straight away.

Just got a call from someone with a kind of nasal Aussie accent, saying my account wasn’t protected. I told him I don’t owe any money and my accounts are all clear. He stammered a bit and then quickly ended the call.

Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent claiming he was from some Credit Help service, saying he wanted to assist with my debts. I told him I don't owe anything, but he insisted his info showed I was £70,000 in debt. I repeated I dont owe that. He then got quite rude asking if I was refusing to cooperate. I said no and he just hung up on me.

Got a call from a bloke saying he was from Citizens Advice. He started talking about my credit card payments, so I told him he was wrong. Then he says something like, "I can see from your credit report you pay £100 monthly." That’s when I asked again, "Who exactly is this?" and he just hung up. Proper dodgy. This site’s really handy though, helped me sleep better at night :)

Got a call from someone in India saying I supposedly had some dodgy credit stuff linked to me lol. He kept asking if it was true, I told him no clue what he was on about. He kept pushing, asking if I was sure, I just kept saying honestly no idea what you mean. Told him I haven’t been around that long anyway. Then he just went "ohhhh" and hung up. These calls are proper dodgy, how do you even block them? Had a similar one just a couple days ago.

21/07 2016 got a call from this number today, some bloke said he was from citizens advice. I asked him what the catch was, he just told me to shove off and then ended the call.

Got a call from this number on my mobile earlier. I picked up but no one spoke. Then it rang again and this time it went to my landline, where the answer machine answered. I picked up and there was a connection tone. This guy with an Indian accent said he was calling from Her Majesty’s Government’s Financial Conduct Authority about some mortgage I supposedly owe. I said no right away. Then he asked if it could be something to do with a credit card, I told him again no. He kept asking if I was certain, I said yes and asked where exactly he was calling from once more. Then he just hung up.
