Picked up and the call just dropped straight away. Looked it up here and sent a report to the ICO - just Google 'report spam call', the more people who complain the better. Fingers crossed they get slapped with a hefty fine, though knowing them they probably won't pay. Still, there's talk of the government changing rules to hold the bosses personally liable for these fines, so maybe that'll shake up how they do things.

Lately, I've been getting loads of calls from different mobile numbers. I usually pick up thinking it might be someone real, whether personal or work-related. But like others have said, it’s a recorded message about debt with options to press 5 for details or 9 to stop the calls. Pressing 9 doesn’t seem to do anything, and I’m reluctant to press 5. I’ve blocked quite a few of these numbers and reported them through the ICO site. Totally agree, we’ve got to keep complaining to push the government and phone firms to put a stop to this rubbish.

Loads of random numbers kept ringing my phone every few minutes, each time it was a different one. Clearly they’re using some sort of tech to mask their real number and show something fake. They keep ringin me every few mins from all sorts of numbers. Best thing is to block 'em and turn your phone off for 10-15 mins, else you'll end up gettin loads of calls back to back in like 5 mins. If they think your phone’s off, you might not show up on some of their call lists.
