They called claiming to be from a life insurance company, saying they were just doing a routine 6 month policy review. Then they started talking about how they could help me cut costs on my current policies. They already had some info about my coverage, which made it seem genuine. But if you try to ask proper questions, they suddenly go quiet and won’t give clear answers. Definitely felt a bit fishy.

Last night I got a call from someone saying we’d paid too much on our Legal and General insurance. I was suspicious straight away, so I looked up the number and found out it’s linked to scammers.
