Got a call from what sounded like a proper automated man’s voice, very official, saying there was a charge of £100 on my Visa for some gambling website in the US. They said they’ve put the payment on hold and suggested I press 1 to talk to someone. Obviously, this is just another scam, so watch out!

Got a dodgy voicemail about some funny business going on with a Visa card. Thing is, I don’t even own one!

They sounded super official, telling me that a big amount was taken from my bank for some Amazon payment. I almost got caught up in it but then I stopped and took a quick look at my account. Not surprisingly, no money had been withdrawn at all. THIS SCAM IS REALLY RISKY. I'd recommend blocking this number straight away on your phone.
