Got a call from someone claiming to be Amazon saying over £700 had been taken from my bank. They said they were with fraud prevention or something. I told them they’re not Amazon and to quit trying to con folks. Then they just dropped the call. Amazon never contacts you like this and definitely doesn’t use mobile numbers to ring. It’s the same sort of scammers we all recognise by now, proper rubbish. If you get a call like this pretending to be Amazon, just hang up and have a proper look at your account yourself.
