Today this number rang me and the guy said he was from a place called Nur. He started chatting about some plan to cut down energy bills using solar panels, but then he just ended the call as soon as I told him I didn't get in touch with them.

my mum picked up the phone and a person was asking for her husband. as soon as she wanted to know their name, they just ended the call.

So, this company reached out to say they were working alongside the local council to inform me about a new government initiative to help with energy bills. They wouldn’t give their actual name though. I’m not sure if it’s a scam, but as far as I know, the council doesn’t partner with any company for energy schemes like this. If anyone can find out the firm’s name, it might be worth reporting to trading standards.
