Got a call from someone saying they were my kid, claiming they'd changed their number and somehow lost all their contacts. They said they were stuck and needed help to pay a couple of bills because they couldn’t access their online bank account. Something about it felt off immediately since one of my kids is in Australia and the other lives just five minutes from me. Definitely a scam, trying to trick people out of their cash. Be careful with this number!

I got calls from two different numbers, 07503003729 and 02039720372, both from what sounded like the same Asian guy. He asked me to hold for about 20 seconds to complete some sort of survey. First he rang me on the mobile one, then he called back shortly after from the landline. I ended up just blowing a whistle down the phone to deal with it.

Some bloke rang me up claiming to be Mark from housing benefits. Yeah, right, like I’m falling for that - the number was coming from India 🇮🇳. He goes on about not trying to sell me anything. Sure, mate, keep telling yourself that. As if the council’s housing benefits department would be phoning anyone on a public holiday. Total scam attempt if you ask me.

Some guy called me mam, sounded foreign and wanted to chat with my mum. I asked who was talking, then he just hung up on me. Feels like he’s working from home or something. Best to block him.
