On the 3rd of March in 2021, I received a rather alarming call. It was a pre-recorded message claiming to be from the National Crime Agency, stating that my National Insurance number was supposedly linked to some illicit activities. They went on to threaten me, saying if I didn’t press 1 to speak with them, I could face arrest. Definitely a dodgy number, so I’ve blocked it straight away!
