Got a call from a guy claiming he was with BT, really caught me off guard. Forgot to mention, he even threatened to cut off my internet if I didn’t comply!

So this lady from India called me on 0161 970 2679 claiming there was an issue with my internet, said she was from Microsoft. I didn’t really respond much, then suddenly a bloke, also Indian, came on the line saying he was gonna cut off my internet! Then he bothered me again, ringing me from a different mobile number, causing loads of hassle!

I got a call from a guy claiming to be from BT, said my system was hacked and asked me to go online so he could prove it. I told him no, but then he rang me again. This time he said he’d give me a security number to show he was legit if I didn’t trust him. I just ended the call straight away.
