So this lady with a proper posh accent phoned me about some PPI payout I was meant to get. Since I’d read that the final date for PPI claims was 29 August 2019 on the financial-ombudsman.org.uk site, I figured it was dodgy and just hung up. Later on, I went ahead and blocked the number just to be safe.

Got a call about a PPI refund, saying I'd been charged a fee and could get it back. The woman kept saying all my info was on her screen but kept giving me wrong details. I just told her to **** off. Never gave them any of my info. Seriously, companies like BT should really start looking into who these scammers are working with, catch them and slap some fines on them instead of letting folks get conned every single week.

I got a call from this number and it was a young woman with a really British accent. She actually knew my name and claimed she was contacting me about some PPI claim I'd supposedly made - which is totally not true! I just got a Vodafone phone not long ago, so I decided to check the number. Turns out, it’s linked to Vodafone too. I'd be pretty frustrated if Vodafone were passing my info around to different firms like that!
