Got a really rude and aggressive asian guy on the phone, keepin on about me owing money and said he’s gonna show up at my place cause he’s some sort of bailiff. I rang the cops and they told me it’s dangerous and not to open the door cos it’s a scam.

Got a call from a bloke who sounded Asian, said he was with some credit investigation team. I didn’t even let him finish, told him to stop faffing about and ended the call. Number’s blocked now.

They hung up right away. Tried ringing back but went straight to voicemail and the box was full! So I messaged them "Have fun wasting your time :)" then had a quick look at their profile to see if it was just a troll lol.

Got a call from someone called "Angela" claiming to be from "citizens advice". She was quite friendly and started a bit of small talk. I told her I hadn’t asked for the call and that it was unsolicited. She just ended the call straight away.

It was someone from the credit team, speaking with a really strange nasal accent. They actually knew my name right away. I asked them straight away to take my number off their list so I wouldn't get any more calls, but the person just said "no no no" and then hung up like they were annoyed.

Got a call from some bloke calling himself "Eric" claiming to be from the "Citizens Advice Bureau" at nearly 7pm. He mumbled both his name and the org so I had to ask him to say it again. Then he started on about some "classified debts" they’d supposedly heard about, asking me to confirm it. Sounded fishy as hell. I asked, "Wait, you’re really from CAB and you want me to give personal details over the phone?" and he just cut me off straight away. Blocked the number sharpish.
