Got a call from this number, some bloke claimed to be from Barclays fraud team saying they’d blocked a payment to Argos from my Barclays account. Thing is, I don’t even have an account with Barclays. Asked him straight away what name was on the account and he just started rambling on about security reasons. Told him I wasn’t buying it, thought it was a scam, and hung up.
