Got a call claiming I’d been in an accident, which I definitely wasn’t. So instead of answering seriously, I handed the phone over to my 3-year-old and told him it was Santa checking what presents he wanted for Christmas.

Got a text saying they've been trying to reach me about my PPI claim and that they now know how much I'm meant to get. It asked me to reply POST to get my pack or END to stop getting messages. Honestly, I'd say don’t respond at all, not even with the optout words. Replying just shows them your number's live and someone is there to see their messages. Best just ignore and don’t give them any interaction.

I keep getting calls from spammers, but luckily my phone flags them as scams and hangs up straight away. It even sends me an alert showing the caller’s number and where they’re calling from, with a big red warning sign saying DANGER! That’s more than enough for me. I’ve blocked them all now and just wait for them to try ringing on a new number.
