I got a call from this number saying they were from Royal Mail and wanted me to pay up for a parcel, otherwise there’d be trouble. Seemed dodgy to me.

I got a call from someone claiming they'd ban my national insurance number or something, so I just ended the call right then. I tried ringing the number back after, but nobody picked up. Definitely feels like a scam to me.
