Just got a text about an unpaid tax refund of £307.72, with a link to fill out some return form on "hmropending-rebate". Honestly, it looked dodgy to me so I didn't tap the link. Real tax stuff usually pops through the post, never by text message like that. Feels like a scam to me!

He said he was from around here and needed to inspect some pipes, but he didn’t actually seem to know my address, which definitely felt a bit dodgy.
