Someone rang saying they were from Visa, though they never named a particular card company. They told me there was a dodgy transaction and I needed to press a button to confirm it or another to chat with someone about it. I ended the call and phoned my bank straight away, and they said everything was fine with my account, no unusual activity at all. I’m flagging this as suspicious since I don’t know what could have happened if I’d stayed on the line.
