The person had already dealt with the actual fraud team and cancelled their card, so found the entire sequence highly suspicious and likely a scam.

Got a text saying it was from Lloyds Bank about some suspicious card payments, asking me to reply Y or N about a certain amount and shop. It arnt right cos I'd just had a genuine message about the same thing but from a different number and the wording was different too. Then I got a call from someone pretending to be Lloyds Fraud team but I knew straight away it wasnt them because Id already spoken to the real fraud dept, cancelled my card and gone over recent spends with them. Felt really dodgy!
