Watch out, these are definitely scammers. Never share any details with them. Just end the call immediately and sign up for BT Call Protect - it’s a free service, not an actual phone. It's basically a system where you can report dodgy numbers and have them blocked permanently.

This number has been bothering me non stop for ages. I’m home all day since I work remotely, so it rings constantly. Even though I registered my landline, it doesn’t seem to stop them. They say they’ll remove me from their list but it’s the same voices every time. When I ask for their company name and address, they just hang up. How do they manage to get away with this nonsense?

Only get about 2 calls a day? You’re lucky! I’m getting like 6 calls daily, both on my mobile and landline, and it’s really starting to annoy me. I can block them on my mobile, which helps a bit, but I’m pretty sure they just switch to different numbers since I’ve been blocking them for ages now. It’s a right pain!

Got loads of calls from this guy Robbie, who says he's from Glasgow and wants to sell me new windows at 85% off. I told him to stop ringing me, but the calls keep coming - sometimes three times a day! Totally a scam if you ask me. Absolutely ridiculous.

I've been getting a bunch of calls for the past three days and one of them even made me miss a phone appointment with my doctor. When I picked up, it sounded like a call centre on the other end. I've reached out to TPS and am waiting for them to register me, but I found out this number is linked to a company called Money Privilege based in Glasgow.

Got a call from some firm claiming it's about the 'Green Deal' using number 07947 939168. I asked them to remove my info, but they've still rung me up six times over the past few days. Really fed up now, so I’m gonna sign up with the Telephone Preference Service to stop these annoying calls.

Total cold call, obviously. When I told the person on the line that it was a cold call, they replied with, "No, no, not a cold call ma'am, it’s a really warm call," and then burst out laughing. I just ended the call straight away and used my BT call blocker to stop them from ringing again.

I let it ring through to voicemail, no one spoke but you could hear loads of noise in the background from what sounded like a call centre. Landlines are such a pain nowadays, expensive and just an open door for scammers trying to get at you. I’m thinking of cutting it off and sticking to just my mobile. Proper fed up with all this.

This woman called asking for someone by the wrong name, which was quite amusing, then started on about some boiler exchange scheme I supposedly qualified for. Since I wasn’t busy, I just let her carry on with her spiel. After a while, she actually said I was wasting her time! Honestly, the government should take some blame for these scammers. If these schemes are real and worth it, why aren’t they offered to every homeowner or landlord? That would sort out all this faff and stop these annoying scammers from pestering people!

I’ve had this number ring me about half a dozen times lately and eventually got fed up and picked up. Some bloke was on about a boiler replacement scheme and somehow knew my last name. I said I’m on the TPS list, and then he wanted my registration ID. He then told me it costs £75 a year to be on it! I told him that was rubbish and to never ring me here again.

They keep ringing me up asking for someone who’s never lived at this address. I’ve told them to take this number off their list several times. Today, when I said Mrs Boa doesn’t live here, they just cut me off. Really annoying!

Had a bloke ring me with a thick Scottish lilt, saying he was from some firm in Glasgow pushing a free boiler upgrade deal. I told him I’m on the TPS and he shouldn’t be ringing at all. Surprisingly, he then wanted my TPS number - daft or what? Told him to jog on and stop wasting my time. Then he threatened he'd keep calling every 15 minutes. Lucky for me, easy to block this muppet. Total waste of my day.

Just got a call from this number, but the woman on the other end had such a bad connection I could hardly make out what she was saying. Something about a free renewal? I asked her to say it again, but the line got even worse after that. It really did sound like she was stuck in one of those hectic call centres.
