I picked up the phone, it was a mobile number, but the voice on the other end had quite a thick foreign accent. They started asking about my electricity provider and said they could help lower my bills. They claimed it would be a quick chat and asked if I could answer a few questions. I could hear loads of people talking in the background, so I figured it was some sort of call centre. I told them I was busy at work and it wasn’t a good time, but they wouldn’t take no for an answer. Eventually, I just ended the call.
