I got a text from this number saying they were from the DWP. The message said something about a "UK Government Living Allowance Office" giving a final reminder. They claimed because of cuts to the winter heating grant, it’s no longer available, but the government had decided to send an early living subsidy to help get through the winter. Then they told me to apply for this subsidy quickly through a link they provided, or else my qualification would be cancelled after 15/10/2024. Seemed very dodgy to me, especially with the weird wording and that sketchy link. Definitely a scam from my view!
