I missed the call but they left a voicemail which was a weird distorted recording saying something about a payment for online shopping being taken from my bank and needing some kind of confirmation? It wasn’t very clear but that was the main message. I didn’t ring back as it seemed dodgy, so I just checked my bank statements instead. Everything looked fine, so I’m pretty sure it was a scam. If anyone else gets a call like this, my tip is to let it go to voicemail, hear what they say, then block the number and share what happened on here.
