Got a sketchy text from this number saying something about winter welfare payments: apparently winter’s here and they’re rolling out heating grants for 2024-25 to help cover costs. They told me there’s no age restriction and it won’t mess with other benefits. Just said you have to be a UK citizen to apply through a link they sent. They said they’d check the info once you update it before giving out any money. It all sounds a bit dodgy to me, so watch out.
