Got a message on my phone from this number around 2.40pm on Wednesday 21st Oct. It said it was from O2 and that they couldn’t sort my last payment. They told me to click a link to dodge any extra charges. Nah, no chance mate - total scam!

I rang them back on a different number and this time it actually went through, which was a bit of a surprise compared to the usual “number not in service” beep. But as soon as I answered, they just cut the call straight away. Guess they weren’t all that interested in having a chat!
