Got a call from someone claiming to be from my bank, said they needed to verify a credit card charge. Total scam trying to trick me about a transaction that wasn’t mine. Watch out, these fraudsters are getting clever!

Got a call from someone claiming our phone line was still connected via the old exchange and that we were being switched to a digital number. Told them they had the wrong info and ended the call quickly. We already use a digital phone service, so it was pretty clear it was a scam.

Got a call from this number on my home phone around 12:15 in the afternoon. Instantly felt it was some sort of scam, so when I answered, I just said, "Good afternoon, SCAMMER." You should’ve heard the silence before they just cut the call. Deleted the number straight away.
