Just like others have said, someone rang me pretending to be Julie, claiming they had a new number. After that, over the next few days, I kept getting texts at stupid o’clock in the morning, like 7:30am, asking if I was awake or if I was busy. The final message even included my name with a kiss at the end. How on earth do they know my name? Proper creepy. I've blocked the number now, but it still freaks me out.

I’ve had this woman, Julie, texting me too. She’s used three separate phone numbers over the span of a couple of months, telling me she’s switched her number or whatever. Seems like others have had the exact same thing happen judging by the other comments here.

Got a text from someone called ‘Julie’ saying she’s changed her number and wants me to delete the old one, also asked me to text back to confirm I received it. I didn’t reply, but then got another message last night checking if I’d seen the new number. I looked it up on who-called[###][###], and with loads of searches and comments there, I’m pretty sure it’s some kind of scam or dodgy caller. Wouldn't trust it.

Got a couple of texts from someone called Julie saying she’s got a new phone and wants me to send her my number. Then, a bit later, she messages me again asking for it. Bit weird really.

Got a call from someone acting like they were a mate asking for a bit of cash, but it was obviously a scam trying to trick me out of money.
