11 monthsSome bloke called saying I'd used his company's advertising before and needed to renew because I'd missed last April's cutoff. I told him I had no idea what he was on about and wasn't interested at all. He kept saying my advert was ready for approval and I couldn't say no. I told him I was at work and needed to speak to my office, so he said he'd ring back tomorrow. Didn't fancy that, so I blocked the number. If he does try again, he'll hear it straight from me. Glad I found this site - it's good to know I'm not the only one dealing with this rubbish.1 yearGot a ring from this number earlier. They even knew loads about us, mentioning my husband by name and saying they’d already talked to him and me back then. Weirdly, we never actually agreed to any deal. When my husband got back in touch, they told him we were supposedly under contract. He asked them to send a recording of us giving permission - apparently their accounts team would sort it. I’m waiting to see if they actually send anything.
