I just received a text that definitely seems like a scam! It claimed to be from Halifax saying there were updates on my account. Normally, they inform customers through emails or their official phone line, and they never include links in messages, which this one did. Feels pretty clear to me that this number is dodgy. I haven’t rung Halifax yet to double-check, but I’m almost certain it’s fake.
