I received a message requesting that I click on a link to verify my delivery information from Canada Post. I'm quite suspicious about it and suspect it might be a fraud attempt.

I received a text from this number and had no clue who Canada Post was, never ordered anything from Canada either. Also, why would some Canadian delivery service be texting from a UK mobile? Didn’t click the link so I can’t say if it’s dodgy or not. The message said something like: Canada Post: It seems we can’t deliver your package because the shipping address you gave is wrong. Please fix the info right away by clicking here https://dumpc.com/uk?vRn=D9f4RINuXe

Sounds like some kind of ransomware scam to me. Seriously, don’t tap on that link! Just send the message over to 7726 so it can be checked out, then get rid of it. You can look up 7726 on Google to find out more about this scheme the police and phone companies set up to combat stuff like this.
