Don’t fall for this, it’s a total con! HMRC would never ring you on a mobile number like that. It’s really awful that elderly folks have to get these dodgy texts in the middle of the night, like at 1 am. Such a horrible thing to put people through.

Watch out, I got a call that seemed to be from HMRC but was a total scam. Really makes you think twice about who’s on the other end! Stay safe everyone.

This morning I received a text supposedly from HMRC. I didn’t open or ring them, instead I looked up this site first. After reading what’s shared here, it’s pretty frightening how real it seems for anyone. Really hope these scammers get caught and stopped soon.

Got a message on Christmas from someone claiming to be HM Revenue and Customs, said I was blocked or something. Definitely a scam, so I just ignored it. Can't believe people try this on holidays!

Just got a text from someone called HMR+C sayin’ I’m owed a refund on my P600. Anyone else had something like this? Sounds a bit dodgy to me.
