I received a cheeky call from a chap who claimed my PPI request had been approved. I was a bit taken aback and replied, "Pardon? I haven't actually filed for any PPI." Just like that, he hung up on me. - Caller: PPI

I received a call from the number 07496 597194, and the person on the other end requested my banking information under the pretense of refunding me nearly £2000 for a mis-sold PPI. I was wise enough not to share any personal details-definitely a scam!

This morning, my phone buzzed twice with a call from these dubious characters wanting the full 16 digits of my card. I couldn't shake off the feeling of unease, especially since I recently dealt with a firm about PPI claims. When I mentioned a random company I hadn’t even engaged with, they surprisingly nodded along. Shocking behaviour from such individuals - it was from the number 07496597194.
