Got scammed by someone using the name James Clark on Facebook Marketplace. He's based in Exeter and was selling pool tables, fridges, cookers and stuff. Took my deposit and now refuses to give it back. Seems like he’s got listings all over the place! Avoid at all costs.

I’ve been duped into losing a pool table through Facebook Marketplace! This shady character has several accounts, all operating under different names but using the same photos. They claim to be from various locations too. Best to steer well clear of this one!

I got ripped off by a guy on Facebook Marketplace who goes by James Clark. He said he was based in Exeter but his listings said Lee on Solent. He sells stuff like pool tables and big electrical gear, claiming he can deliver them. He gave me this number but now, whenever I call it, no answer at all. It’s like he vanished. Total scam!
