I got a call from this number about upgrading my mobile phone. I was tied up at the moment (on 9/7/2015 around 3:29pm) and since I was due for an upgrade, I told them to ring me later. When they did call back, it was from a different number (I only found out afterwards) - 07496060735 (about 3:48pm). They already had all sorts of info on me - my phone plan, name, address, email, handset details, and when I was eligible for the upgrade. They claimed to be from a company linked to Carphone Warehouse. Things felt off when they asked to confirm my upgrade and bank details. They promised a text with their contact info but never sent anything. Now, I'm planning to visit my bank to check no dodgy direct debits are set up with that account.
