I received a call from this number regarding an upgrade for my mobile. At the time, I was rather occupied (9/7/2015 at 15:29) and indeed it was due, so I requested a callback. When they returned my call, it was from a different number (07496060735 at 15:48 the same day), which I didn’t pick up on initially. They had an alarming amount of my personal mobile details, including my plan, name, address, as well as my device and email. They claimed to be associated with Carphone Warehouse. However, when they started confirming my upgrade and bank details, alarm bells started ringing. They assured me I’d receive a text with their contact info, but that never materialised. I’m now off to the bank to make sure no illicit direct debits can be set up using the account they mentioned.
