I just received a message pretending to be from EE saying: "EE: your last bill couldn't be processed. To prevent any charges, please update your payment details here: [#]myee-unlockrestriction{###." I never trust texts from EE that come from mobile numbers and never click on any links in texts. I'm definitely going to block this number and report it to EE straight away.

Looks like a billing scam to me. I’ve heard about it before. It usually comes from Russia, so don’t click on anything or pay up! Just stay clear.

Just a heads up, this seems like a trick to steal your bank card info. I've let the fraud team at EE know about it. Be careful!

Got a text from +447495996780 pretending to be EE saying they couldn’t process my last bill. It said something like if I didn’t update my payment details through a link, my account would get restricted. Definitely felt a bit dodgy to me.

someone pretending to be from ee called me - total scam. it all seemed so real and i stupidly gave my card info. ended up with loads of dodgy charges. luckily, my bank sorted it all out but please, dont click any links from these people! watch out!

Got a text saying it was from 02 about a problem with my bill. I’ve never even been with 02, so it’s definitely a scam!

Just got a message from 02 saying they couldn’t handle the payment on my last bill. It’s telling me to update my billing details at [#]o2-unlockaccount(###] if I want to dodge any extra charges. Seems a bit off to me.
