I’ve passed this number onto Action Fraud as it’s definitely a scam. They rang my 88-year-old mum, who’s quite vulnerable, pretending to be from her bank. They told her that a lot of money had been taken from her account and tried to get her to give them more personal info. Luckily, she didn’t share anything. She’s really shaken up and stressed out by the whole thing.
