Got a call from this number saying i was in some accident - not true at all as far as i know. Blocked it straight away.

They claimed my number was linked to some kind of accident, which wasn’t true at all. I asked them to remove my details. The guy kept pushing, naming loads of accident types I supposedly had been in. When I asked where they got my number from, he just said it would be deleted and then hung up. I’ve blocked the number now.

They told me I’d won a million of your British pounds. I said sure and gave them my bank info, sort code included. Then they asked for my mum’s maiden name for some reason, so I handed that over too, plus the PIN so I wouldn’t have to lift a finger. Sounds like a dream and almost unbelievable. Hoping for the best - I’ve already booked a round-the-world cruise because of it.

Got a call from a guy called Shawn with an Indian accent. He claimed I’d been in some accident, but I told him I don’t recall anything like that. Then he goes, “Sounds like you got amnesia from the crash.” I just said, “That sounds rubbish to me.” Next thing, he called me a c@#t and ended the call! Unbelievable behaviour.

Got a call from some ambulance chaser who said his name was Jack, asked for my details. Told him not to bother calling again cos the laws have changed. He started getting rude, so I gave it back to him and ended the call. He rang again, I told him straight, hung up and then blocked the number.
