Got a call from a robot voice claiming it was Amazon, telling me they were charging me £79.99 to renew my Prime subscription. Thing is, I’ve never signed up for Amazon Prime at all, and they’ve never called me before. When I said 'hello', the robot finally started talking. It also said to press 1 if I wanted to cancel and speak to a real person. Sounds like some dodgy scam just trying to grab Amazon account info to me.
