I got a call from this number asking for someone called Mr Garrett. They never said who they were or why they were ringing. When I told them Mr Garrett doesn’t live here, they gave me a completely different address and asked if I was sure. I said yes, absolutely sure, and warned if the calls didn’t stop I’d report it to the police. Then they just hung up on me! I keep getting calls for this Mr Garrett from all sorts of different numbers, and it’s really starting to wind me up. He’s never lived here as far as I know. Just another dodgy number blocked now!

Got a call on my landline from this number, some bloke saying he was from CHS. When I asked who he was, he said something like "Your area's energy savings advisor." I said straightaway, "This a sales pitch then?" He denied it but ended the call pretty sharpish - clearly knew I wasn’t interested! Maybe I should’ve kept him talking longer to waste his time and protect others who might be less wary. Using 1471 I checked the number. I’m on the TPS anyway, so no legit firm should be ringing me up like that.
