Got a call today from a woman with an Asian accent, said her name was Alice and claimed to be from BT. She told me she was ringing about my internet speeds and wanted to offer a free service visit. The funny thing is, we don’t even have BT or any BT broadband in the house! I asked her for a couple of digits from her security code to verify her but when she couldn't provide them, I told her she didn’t pass the security checks and ended the call.
