This number rang me saying they were from the FSA and claimed my bitcoin account was frozen - which is true, but that’s a whole other story. The woman on the phone gave me her name, and when I asked how to verify she was legit, she told me to Google the FSA and look for her name on their site. I did, but couldn’t find her name anywhere. She said there must be a glitch on the website and promised to get it sorted. I told her to ring me back tomorrow after I’d had time to investigate myself. I’m planning to phone the FSA directly to check if the call was genuine.

Loads of times I’ve had calls from this number and a few others. When you pick up, there’s nobody speaking, just some faint background sounds that kinda remind me of a busy call centre.
