I just received a text from what claimed to be Barclays saying there was a strange payment of £675.88 taken from my account on 29th May 2026. They said they’ve put a stop on it to protect my money. It told me if I didn’t approve this, I should ring them straight away on +448008203247. Felt a bit fishy to me.
