Got a call from this number but when I tried ringing back, it wouldn’t even pick up. Pretty sure it’s either a scam or some kind of spam, no idea who it was though!

Got a call claiming we’d placed an ad in some ‘crime prevention’ magazine, just like what someone else posted about 16 hours earlier. Seems really dodgy and not trustworthy at all. It’s so annoying how these calls keep coming in, with people telling me we supposedly bought some advert space. At least this time it wasn’t from a ‘private number’, so I managed to check it out, which was a relief. Glad I’m not the only one getting this weird nonsense! Odd that it’s coming from a mobile number too!

Got a call from this number, they reckoned I’d signed up for a business ad in some ‘crime prevention’ magazine. The bloke claimed we’d talked before and even had a video of me agreeing to pay a £199 subscription after a free trial. He said he’d send me the recording by email. What was weird is he already knew loads about me, like my address. I told him to shove off, no way I’m paying. Of course, never got that so-called email they promised. Total scam in my opinion.

I’ve just been ignoring calls from this number since I have no idea who it might be - it’s likely just another telemarketer. Honestly, these callers are such a nuisance!
