Got a dodgy call from someone pretending to be from Sky Assurance, saying my maintenance cover had run out and I had to renew it. He kept calling me “ma’am” and when I told him no, that’s not true and there’s no such cover, the coward just hung up on me! Honestly, never hand over your bank or card info to random callers like that, they’ll take every penny they can. Just tell them to jog on and hang up straight away.
