I've been receiving this call multiple times, and thankfully my Panasonic phone allows me to block up to 250 numbers. So far, I've managed to block around 55. They just won't take the hint, will they? What an utter nuisance!

Received a call on 22nd December 2016 where a young chap spoke to my elderly father. He asserted he was representing a service aimed at preventing bothersome calls-quite ironic, if you ask me! He insisted that my father had been a member of their service for the past year and that there was a new promotional offer including a complimentary mobile phone geared towards seniors. The truth is, we've never signed up for anything of the sort. Does such a thing even exist? I can't help but suspect it's a scam targeting vulnerable older folks. Earlier this year, we had a very similar call with a nearly identical pitch, where the caller almost managed to extract my father's card details.

Received a call on 22nd December 2016, and it was my elderly father who answered. A rather young chap on the other end insisted he was from a service that supposedly stops nuisance calls (rather ironic if you ask me). He asserted that my father had been enrolled in their scheme for the past year and was touting a new promotion that included a free mobile phone for the elderly. We’ve never signed up for anything like that! Is that even a genuine service? It feels like a scam aimed at exploiting vulnerable seniors. Earlier this year, we had a similar experience with a caller who almost managed to extract my dad's card details with the same kind of pitch. Disconcerting, to say the least!
