Got a message from an unknown number asking for personal info so they could 'sort out a bill.' Never gave them my contact, so I knew straight away it was a scam. Best to just block and forget about it.

They rang me yesterday, but I never pick up calls from unknown numbers. Then, just now, I got a text from the same number claiming to be O2, saying there was an issue with my latest bill and asking me to confirm my bank details... 1- I don’t have an O2 account, never have actually. 2- This has to be a scam. I've blocked them already. It's sickening how some people try to trick others out of money like that.

I'd steer clear of replying to that text saying it's from O2 about updating your payment details through a link. When I called the number it gave, Vodafone picked up instead - pretty odd if you ask me!
