I used to work as an action fraud investigator and just got a call from someone pretending to be from EE. I’m on the no marketing calls list so normally I don’t get legit sales calls. There was a weird pause before they picked up, which usually means the call is auto dialled and possibly routed overseas. The person on the line had a strong north Asian accent and it felt very much like a scam call centre. Honestly, best to just hang up and not respond.
