This number has called me a bunch of times recently, I picked up once and they were asking for a Miss Cally. I told them they’d got the wrong number but the person kept going on and said it didn’t really matter. I ended the call and blocked it right away. Since then, I’ve had silent voicemail messages and another similar mobile number ringing me. I answered that one and got the exact same thing. I’ve blocked that number now too.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from the government, saying they had free grants to help clear debts. She didn’t seem too pleased when I told her I actually own my house outright, no mortgage, no car loans, no debts whatsoever. What creeped me out was when she mentioned I might get up to £50,000 since I’d contributed to the system for years. Then she asked for my work address and company info, saying an agent could come round with the cash!!!

You should report it to ACTION FRAUD by calling 0300 123 2040 or check their site for how to report. Lets stand upto these scammers and help get them caught!

They’ve been ringing me nonstop since the 26th of April. Most times I’m at work and can’t answer, but when I tried calling back it just goes straight to voicemail saying they’re busy. Managed to get one to answer once, said hello and they just hung up. Another time I picked up and there was total silence from both sides then they hung up after about 10 seconds. Proper strange!
